St. Francis Area Schools is hosting a Community Curriculum Viewing at the District Office. Every 9 years, new curriculum is purchased that has been researched and selected by district teachers in collaboration with our Curriculum and Instruction Department. Year One
Analyze data
Research best practices
Set goals and priorities for the program/curricular area
Reviewing new legislation requirements

Year Two
Review curricular materials to support data, best practices, goals and priorities and standards
Pilot materials when applicable
Recommend purchases and receive feedback from the ACT Committee (Assessment, Curriculum & Teaching)
School board approval
