A Special Election for one seat on the St. Francis Area Schools School Board will occur on Tuesday, Nov. 4. Early voting is now available.

One candidate, Interim School Board member Jessica Bakken-Kleven, filed for the special election.

The winner of the special election will begin their appointment following the certification of the election results and serve on the board until Jan. 8, 2029.

Voting Information

For early voting, visit the Anoka County Government Center (2100 3rd Ave, Suite 160, Anoka, MN 55303), Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

On Tuesday, November 4, 2025, polling locations are usually open from 7 a.m.-8 p.m. For more information on specific polling locations and hours, contact the Minnesota Secretary of State’s office at 651-215-1440 or go online to www.sos.state.mn.us.

Register to Vote

Before you can vote, you must register. In Minnesota, you may register on Election Day at your polling place with appropriate identification showing residency in the precinct.
